Swedish SEO localization for a global B2B website
Client: Confidential end client via agency partner
Type of work: Project-based, one-year collaboration
Language pair: English into Swedish
Content: Website copy
Focus: SEO and copy adaptation
In this one-year project, I worked on Swedish localization of website content for a global enterprise brand. The assignment focused on SEO and copy adaptation rather than straightforward translation.
The goal was to create Swedish content that supported the intent of the original pages while sounding more natural and credible in the local market. That meant adapting phrasing, tone, and keyword use so the content would read more fluently in Swedish.
What I contributed
English-to-Swedish website localization
SEO-aware copy adaptation
Keyword research
Improvements to tone, flow, and readability
Alignment between translated content and local search intent
This kind of work helps avoid a common problem in B2B localization: content that is accurate, but still feels too close to English to fully work.
